  • HDJ Design Group, PLLC, Vancouver, WA, completed the Traffic Study Analysis for the Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex project.

  • Cascadia Services, Inc. with corporate offices in Port Orford, Oregon and a regional office in Woodland, WA, completed a geological hazard analysis and study on the park site. Water filtration testing on 18 holes was completed July 2015 with the final report completed October 2015.

  • E D Hovee & Company, LLC, Vancouver, WA., completed a Woodland Sports Field Market Analysis for the Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex Project.

  • A team of park committee members including Bernie Schockelt of Columbia River Carbonates, Bob Hasbrouck, Sandy Larson, Sharon Lien, and Susan McAdams completed a Sustainability Study projecting Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex revenues and expenses to determine the financial feasibility of a sustainable park and sports complex facility in Woodland.

  • The Rotary Foundation of Woodland held a park tour event on the Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex property. Approximately 100 people attended the evening event. Food and beverages were provided by The Fat Moose Bar & Grill and Woodland Burgerville.

  • Urban Forestry Restoration Project and Washington Conservancy Corp crews cleared invasive non-native plants on Scott Hill Park property in preparation for restoration & re-vegetation work in the park.

  • City of Woodland parkland at the top of Scott Hill Rd officially names Scott Hill Park and Sports Complex. Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex was named after the Conrad Scott family who farmed the area including the parkland property in the early 1900’s.
