Construction Update

Phase I of Scott Hill Park & Sports Complex is nearing completion, with several key features now finished:

•  The small, covered shelter and the maintenance building with restrooms are complete.
• The Phase I walking trail has been paved.
• The entrance road, entrance sidewalk, and auxiliary parking lot are complete.

Work is currently continuing on the bus/RV and soccer parking lots. Groundwork for soccer fields in Phase II of construction has begun.

Phase 1:

• Entrance
• Trail head restroom
• Maintenance building/restrooms
• Parking lot #1
• Tot toys playground #1
• Covered shelter – 16’x 16′
• 1/3 of paved walking trail
• Multi-use field (natural) soccer & softball
• Covered event shelter – 40’x 30′

Phase 2:

• Soccer field parking (2 lots)
• 1/3 Paved walking trail
• 3 Artificial turf soccer fields
• Restroom Building
• 1/3 Landscaping

Phase 3:

• 2 Artifical baseball turf fields
• 2 Artificial softball turf fields
• Two-story concession stand/restrooms
• Tot toys playground 60′ x 40′
• Final 1/3 of paved walking trail
• Batting cages
• Bull pens
• Main parking lot
• Donor monument
• Large covered shelter (100’x 60′) with kitchen and storage
• Restroom building
• Roadway & sidewalk to Meriwether subdivision
• Final 1/3 landscaping
